Auction Terms & Bidding Rules
By registering, bidding, or purchasing through a Restless Mommas Estate Sales online auction, you agree to the terms below.
All auctions are local pickup only. No shipping is available.
1. Registration
Bidders must create an account to participate. By registering, you agree to provide accurate contact and payment information.
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or remove bidding access at any time for non-payment, missed pickups, repeated issues, abusive behavior, or failure to follow these terms.
2. Bidding
All bids are placed online.
All bids are binding. Do not bid unless you are prepared to complete payment and pick up your items during the scheduled pickup window.
Lots typically open at a $5 starting bid and increase in $5 increments.
Our auctions use automatic (maximum) bidding. If you enter a maximum bid, the system may automatically bid on your behalf in $5 increments, up to your limit, to keep you in the lead.
3. Soft Close
Our auctions use a soft close.
If a bid is placed during the final 2 minutes of a lot, that lot extends by 2 minutes from the time of the bid. This continues until no additional bids are placed during the extension window.
This prevents last-second sniping and allows fair bidding for all participants.
4. Winning Bids
The highest valid bid when bidding fully ends wins the lot.
If payment is not completed within the required timeframe, the item may be offered to the next highest bidder, and bidding privileges may be restricted.
5. Payment
Winning bidders receive a payment link by email after the auction ends.
Payment is required to secure your items.
We use a secure online checkout process. We do not collect, store, or manually run your card information.
No buyer’s premium. What you bid is what you pay, plus applicable sales tax unless a valid resale certificate has been submitted and approved.
6. Item Descriptions & Condition
All items are sold as-is, where-is, with no guarantees, warranties, returns, or refunds.
Photos, descriptions, and condition notes are provided as a guide only. While we do our best to represent items accurately, it is the bidder’s responsibility to review all information before bidding.
If you have questions, please ask before bidding. Once a bid is placed, it is final and binding.
7. Pickup Terms
All auctions are local pickup only. No shipping is available.
The pickup city is shown in advance. The exact address is provided after payment is completed.
Pickup must take place during the scheduled window.
Buyers are responsible for:
- Arriving during the scheduled pickup window
- Bringing help for large or heavy items
- Bringing packing materials, boxes, and wrapping supplies
- Removing all items in their lot at pickup
Staff may not be available to assist with loading.
Items not picked up during the scheduled window are considered abandoned and may be donated, discarded, or resold without refund.
8. Tax-Exempt Buyers
Tax-exempt buyers must provide a valid resale certificate before pickup or before the invoice is finalized. Tax exemption is not applied automatically and must be reviewed and approved.
